Novel DE-based Optimization Technique for the Renewable Sources' Integration

چکیده

Ever since the thermal generation units, once a foundation of large number power systems, were marked as one main emitters greenhouse gases and, therefore, undesirable in modern renewable energy sources are taking over their share mix. Although this process is going fast, it might still not be efficient enough to reach climate goals, set with short deadlines. In accordance that, every measure that enhances integration into grid and makes application for new investors simple straightforward welcome. To aid cause, paper proposes method determining optimal location wind plant predefined geographical area, account both characteristics system region relevant climatic indicators. This technique was developed by utilizing differential evolution mechanism, while introducing novel space search formula ensures avoidance local optima. For mapping solutions switching between discrete continuous values, georeferencing principle implemented. illustrated on part Serbian real-life system.
